DeLoach Vineyards Reviews

Score: 92 | November 1, 2018 | Wine Enthusiast

From a site within the cool Sebastopol Hills, this light-bodied wine is earthy, minty and spicy, with length and grace. Smooth and silky on the palate, it shines in dark cherry, cassis and cardamom, and has a memorable, lasting finish.

Tart and tangy, with a high-strung streak of acidity that’s fresh and focused, this wine traffics in forest pine, strawberry and a lasting linger of orange rind.

Scents of blackberry and raspberry jam highlight the aroma, yet this is snappier and livelier on the palate, turning pleasantly supple and silky, gliding along on the finish.

Lightly aromatic and subtle on the palate, even as the tannins acquire strength and the wine gains prominence. Zesty wild raspberry flavors show a loamy licorice side.
